At Skye's longest running working studio, Pamela, Donald and Daisy Budge offer a delightful mix of original landscapes and abstracts alongside wildlife and flower paintings, Celtic Mythology, Celtic Initials and silk paintings. Commmissions welcomed.

I paint outside, on site, in oils and watercolour. My subject is the landscape: shore, hills, and sky in New England, USA, where I live, and on Skye, where I have come to paint for many years. It is on Skye, where theatrical light continually redefines the structure of the land, that I have found the perfect catalyst for how I enjoy painting.

We make functional, domestic earthenware pottery and tiles with vibrant coloured glaze decoration producing an irrestible mix of the traditional and contemporary.

From Marion Boddy-Evans: I like to walk in the landscape to observe and to sketch, then back in my studio translate the essence and emotion of a location into paint. I work largely in acrylics or textiles, but also mixed media and printmaking. My work is available at Inchmore Gallery near Inverness, and at the Isle of Skye Baking Co in Portree.
